Faithful Flavours started in 2023 with a simple purpose: to support our church and its people, and to introduce Filipino bread to the people of New Zealand. We launched as an online bakery, taking orders for pandesal, ensaymada, and Filipino pastries from our home kitchen. Word spread quickly through the Filipino community and beyond.

It was a very difficult start. In 2024, we transitioned to a food trailer to reach more people, but finding a place to park and operate was just very challenging. Every weekend was a new search for a spot, a new test of patience and determination. But we kept going because the support from our community never stopped.

Then we had the opportunity to move into our 4 Chews Lane cafe location in 2025, and Faithful Flavours finally had a permanent home. A place where we could bake, cook, serve coffee, and welcome people properly. That moment changed everything for us.

We thank all who have supported us, both the Filipino community and the Wellington community. Your encouragement carried us through the hardest days and made every early morning, late night, and long weekend worth it.

Now we have been given the unique opportunity to operate Fiesta Capital at 24 Allen Street. It has just started and will need the same support, especially during this challenging time economically. But we are excited for what is ahead. We look forward to building the Faithful Flavours community with you all.
